Areas in Student Life:

Housing & Community

We help match students with roommates, determine housing assignments, and support students in their new home away from home, as they build friendships, navigate discomfort, and develop an understanding of the world from various points of view.

Alford Community Leadership & Involvement Center (CLIC)

Looking for great ways to get involved? There are all kinds of opportunities. For example, check out our student organizations, leadership programs, service opportunities, department ensembles, club sports & intramurals — and lots more.

Red Frame Lab

Denison nurtures entrepreneurship by positioning our students to be innovative, resourceful, and driven to create change and value.

Spiritual Life

The Spiritual Life Center works to support the Denison Community — students, staff, and faculty — in their spiritual learning and practice by providing support, resources, pastoral care, and programming.

Safety

The Office of Campus Safety's mission is to provide a safe environment for students, faculty, and staff to work, learn, and live. Our approach is to use a culture of care so university community members have both actual and perceived safety.

Title IX

Title IX is a law that prohibits discrimination on the basis of sex in any federally funded education program.

Dean of Students

We are a community of connection and care. Denison offers support for students, prioritizing their well-being and academic success.

Hoaglin Wellness Center

The Hoaglin Wellness Center at Denison is home to medical and counseling services where students can see a primary care provider, mental health clinician, psychiatrist, or nutritionist. Students can also learn and practice wellness-centered activities through interactive workshops, mindfulness opportunities, movement classes, and financial wellness coaching.

First-Year Experience

The Office of First-Year Experience guides new students through their transition into the Denison community by creating a space to embrace the academic, social, and residential challenges and opportunities embedded in a four-year liberal arts college experience.

Belonging & Inclusion

We create a community where every individual feels valued and respected, and can contribute their unique perspectives and talents. We develop deep connections with one another and strive to cultivate a sense of belonging for everyone.

First-Generation Students

For many first-gen students, it takes a lot of initiative and courage just to get through the admission and enrollment process — and then comes the work of finding your place, feeling like a Denisonian, and persevering in your educational goals.

Student Conduct

The Office of Community Values & Student Conduct seeks to cultivate an environment where individuals recognize the significance of their choices and actions to the community and act responsibly and ethically.

Accessibility & Disability Services

The Office of Student Accessibility and Accommodation ensures students with disabilities have equal access to the educational experience and campus life.
