The Persian language (فارسی, fārsi), is a form of the Semitic languages known as Farci. It is one of the many Arabic languages and is written and read from right to left. It is a language of the subgroup of the Iranian languages, in turn belonging to the Indo-Iranian branch of the large Indo-European family.
