I suspect this might be a bit more than just moderate in scope, as it would likely necessitate some changes to the library data model that would affect almost all views.

Do you have "Previous button jumps to the beginning of the track if more than 5 seconds has elapsed" enabled in settings?

I'm seeing the same problem. For what it's worth, the codeberg account was created after a number of issues created by the github account were migrated to codeberg.
