In addition, it would be useful to be able to select multiple files in Blabbers integrated media browser (helpful for quick deletion and sharing of many files).
It would also be nice if Blabber displayed the non-pseudonymous warning search.jabber.network provides, maybe just with an icon and with similar placement like I just described.

I agree to bttr that this doesn't suit all usecases. I have an idea: What if the ability to slide a message to the side was added, which would quite it(like in many well-known messengers)? And then...
I like the idea, but it'd be important for it to be disableable in the settings too, as there are surely people who wouldn't like it.
What about a feature addition where there's a select option in the long press menu of every long pressed message. If you select that, the messsage lights up and clicking any other messages makes them...
I seem not to have this issue after changing the invidious instance in the monocles fork to https://monocles.live . Maybe it's because invidious instances are quickly overloaded.
