In April 2023 I like like Miraheze and EditThis as best alternatives to Referata.com, because both Miraheze and EditThis are very good migration targets for my numerous wiki-sites based on MediaWiki on referata.com. Unfortunately referata.com has been deactivated 2022, the Referata.com-wiki-platform is since 2022 inacccesible.
I like ShoutWiki, because I can migrate my numerous wiki-sites from http://www.referata.com, which has been closed 2022, to ShoutWiki. ShoutWiki also is based on MediaWiki-syntax similar to Referata.com, Wikipedia, Miraheze, EditThis. Because ShoutWiki is Ad-financed I think it will be a better migration target than Miraheze with not enough money to pay the servers longer than until June 2023.

wiki.gg is not an alternative to ShoutWiki in the sense that pages created on ShoutWiki could be migrated without major changes, as this would require wiki.gg also to be based on MediaWiki.
FANDOM is not an alternative to ShoutWiki in the sense that pages created on ShoutWiki could be migrated without major changes, as this would require FANDOM also to be based on MediaWiki.
