A quick supervisory board meeting took place on last thursday. It was
decided to have a change in the management board : I am quitting my
functions as president of the management board, and Dominique Loucougain
is replacing me at this function, as well as at the administrative head
of Linbox.
I will stay in Mandriva and help Dominique to manage the company.
This is a personal decision and also a strategical one :
* a personal one : I am far from my home 4 to 5 days a week and this
is becoming after some years now very heavy for my family and me,
* a strategical one : when I am asked what I do for a job, I am still
answering "engineer". That's what I want to do.
