Même si j'aime bien quand les gens contribuent, je préfère laisser les gens libres au maximum et je vois mes maigres contributions plus comme un don. Et un don n'implique pas d'obligation de donner n retour même si c'est généralement considéré comme plus poli.
De plus, lorsque je vois les problèmes d'incompatibilité de nombreuses licences entre elles, je me dis qu'une licence plus permissive ne pose pas ce genre de problème.
Dernière chose, une licence courte (comme MIT) a l'avantage d'être rapide a lire et facile a comprendre, contrairement à la GPL.
