D'après le texte qui se trouve sur le site de Bnetd, il semblerait que ce soit à cause des dérives potentielles de l'utilisation de bnetd que Blizzard ait demandé les poursuites contre bnetd : We suspect that the issue is really more with Warforge rather than bnetd.org. Since it is/was Warforge who took the bnetd GPL code and added Warcraft 3 Beta support and a client crack, not bnetd.org. Bnetd.org has always been against piracy, and for this reason did not add Warcraft 3 support yet.
