I thought Linux was free - so why are you selling it ?
We are selling a kit for the PlayStation 2 that allows the Linux operating system to be used. Under the terms of the GNU GPL (www.gnu.org), the Linux kernel and other GPL licensed software components may be distributed for a fee as long as the source code and license are included. DISC 2 in the Linux (for PlayStation 2) kit meets the requirements of the GPL as well as the other licenses for the software packages on DISC 2.
Les sources sont donc bien livrés avec, ils sont clair dessus, le DVD2 répond au devoirs de la GPL, dont la dispo des sources.
Pour la non-utilisation de la TV :
Can I use a TV as my display ?
Yes. However, it is necessary to install Linux (for PlayStation 2) for the first time using a compatible VESA Monitor that supports "sync on green". Once Linux has been installed, it is possible to configure it to boot using TV display from then on. Some digital TV (DTV) modes are also supported (separate cables may be required for DTV).
Oui, mais l'install doit être faite en utilisant un moniteur qui supporte le sync-on-green.
