La 3D marche pour les cartes Radeon, mais pas la 8500. C'est indiqué explicitement sur la page status du projet Gatos: http://gatos.sourceforge.net/supported_cards.php(...)
Ton portable a surement une carte Radeon, mais certainement pas une 8500: Cette carte n'existe pas en version «mobility» : http://www.ati.com/na/pages/technology/hardware/hardware.html#2(...) Tu dois avoir une 7500.
