Nautilus handles some various metadata:
* Notes and icons to tag files with related info,
* File sharing information - like with epittance
* File previews for images
* tags on music files
Is it easy to extend nautilus to support new metadata (eg new media formats)?
Are you working with kde & others to standardize on new metadata types (for notes and previews)?
Do you have any ideas of useful metadata to support?
