Comme je trouvais qu'il défoncait plutot pas mal la GPL au passage, je lui ai envoyé un mail où je disais que je trouvais son article bien biaisé sur ce passage et qu'il contribuait a entretenir le flou demarré par Microsoft sur la "mechanceté" de la GPL. Sa réponse :

Sorry, but you are incorrect. I have discussed the GPL at great length with its author and with others involved in software licensing. The GPL is unethical and destructive, and is the agent of a bitter grudge which one man has against commercial software developers. (You can read about the events that led to the creation of the GPL in the book "Hackers," by Steven Levy.)
Fortunately, the GPL is very likely to be legally unenforceable, especially under French law.

Grosso modo je me plante completement, il en a personnellement discuté avec RMS et d'autres personnes specialisées dans la licence de logiciel. Sa conclusion : la GPL n'est pas éthique et est destructive, et est l'agent d'un homme qui en veut aux logiciels commerciaux.
Il conclut par : heureusement, la GPL n'est certainement pas défendable devant la loi, surtout devant la loi Francaise.
Bref, aucun argument, que du FUD. Je lui écrit une reponse bien sentie, mais j'aimerai savoir si certains d'entre vous ont des articles à me filer sur une pretendue faiblesse de la GPL devant la loi (ou le contraire) pour étayer mon discours.
