Bravo.

"I asked Sylvain to work on an European CRM project where he has demonstrated excellent abilities to drive the project in the right direction where the same was driven in the opposite and wrong direction for 6 months. He heard about the second project too as a participant to the selection process for an industrial supplier of ‘mini-site’, and I found he had very good ideas to reinforce our marketing strategy even if these propositions were in opposition with our corporate directions. Once again, he has demonstrated excellent initiative abilities, and a lot of creativity proposing a new marketing approach for our organization. It’s difficult to speak about his greatest accomplishment to the fact he has ignored the given purpose to follow his own idea of the purpose after a discussion with all the people implied in a project. On the CRM project for example, he arrived in Scoot France, a subsidiary of Scoot.com, and we already had a predefined business model. Sylvain had very good ideas (from my point of view), but in contradiction with our company first priorities. He ignored them and continue to work on his purpose. Then he submitted with our agreement his proposal to the European project committee, and to the surprise of our management team in France... he got the listening, the approval and the final decision in favour of what he has proposed from Robert Bonnier, our CEO in London (UK)."
