Trolltech a décidé d'intégrer Phonon à QT. Trolltech fait tout son blé grace aux utilisateurs proprio de QT. A partir du moment où Trolltech a décidé de faire du support pour Phonon c'est certain, l'API fonctionnera sans trouble pour ce à quoi elle a été conçue.
Trolltech a toujours fait du bon boulot sur ce plan là, y'a qu'à comparer QT sous Windows et OS X contre GTK, GTK n'a aucune intégration sous d'autres plateformes. QT cherche même à s'intégrer aux bureaux GTK, cf http://doc.trolltech.com/4.2/qt4-2-intro.html

The QDialogButtonBox class enables dialogs to be created that use the appropriate button order for the user's chosen desktop environment. This enables dialogs created for KDE and Windows to be reused for Mac OS X and GNOME.
