D'après ce que je veins de lire sur le forum du club, smart ne remplacera pas forcément urpmi.

Currently the two have differing strengths and weaknesses - smart's dependency resolving logic is stronger, but urpmi has several features it is lacking (e.g. --keep and --parallel modes)."
