Pour KOffice, pas de souci à se faire. Au contraire, le fait qu'OpenOffice se développe va répandre le format de fichier utilisé par KOffice, et beaucoup se rendront alors compte qu'ils peuvent utiliser cette jolie suite, suffisante pour pas mal de choses, et apportant quand même pas mal de choses par rapport à OpenOffice pour l'utilisateur de KDE :
