    Je suis aussi en mandrake 9.2 + nForce2, et je crois que j'ai résolu le problème des plantages aléatoire (j'en suis a 36h d'uptime, je consedererais que c'est bon si je passe 3 jours):
    Il faut désactiver le Local APIC: http://lkml.org/lkml/2003/11/7/95(...)
    Je suis passé en kernel 2.6-test11 que j'ai compilé sans support Local APIC, mais ca doit aussi marcher avec le kernel mandrake en passant 'nolapic' au boot.

    Guys having problems with NForce2 boards should try the tmb kernel in contrib for 9.2 (kernel-tmb-2.4.22.12.tmb.1mdk), apparently Thomas has managed to get ACPI working with USB and a few other things ...
    Of course, you might have to rebuild some of the NForce drivers afterwards, but at least there is a kernel-tmb-source package

    Et pour ce qui est de l'USB, il y a qqch dans les erratas:
    Error scenario: When plugging in a USB webcam (some Philips models, maybe others) the system locks solid
    Why: There is a kernel bug when auto-loading the snd-usb-audio module.
    Solution: Upgrade to kernel 2.4.22-18mdk in updates (MDKA-2003:020)
