Olivier Ezratty peut effectivement avoir un certain recul sur le monde du libre, vu son profil : 4 ans comme « Developer and Platform Evangelism Director Microsoft France », 3 ans comme « Marketing and Communication Director Microsoft France » et 8 ans encore au marketing Microsoft. Ce qui n'enlève rien à l'intérêt de son article, bien au contraire.
