I have just bought a mac. Not because of Aqua but because the Titanium laptop sounds a good choice to me. And I would not have bought it if I had not known that I could alternately go for Linux on that machine.

There is one thing though that I do not like much in all these MacOS: the apple menu that always stands at the top of the screen. Is there a way to customize this ? Can we hide it?
It is so nice to see a blank desktop with only one picture on the background, right-clicking to see what you can get from it.
Actually I don't find this transparency game so nice too. Is it a way to customize this on MacOS X?
As you see, I have found out how to customize MacOS X at my will yet. I even wonder if it is that possible.
So MacOS X sounds great too me but I still have the annoying impression to be in a close world, not really in a aqua one.
