    Merci pour la piqure de rappel. En retournant lire la page de TI-Planet pointée, je tombe sur les limitations du mode examen (partie A3) :

    However, symbolic calculation was a big problem in NumWorks

    Casio and Texas Instruments distribute distinct models according to geographical areas. For example:

    • the TI-83 Premium CE Édition Python in France is replaced by the TI-84 Plus CE-T Python Edition in Europe, or TI-84 Plus CE Python in the rest of the world
    • the Casio Graph 35+E II in France is replaced by the fx-9860GIII in Europe, or fx-9750GIII in North America

    But the difference is that NumWorks only offers one model for the entire world. So the manufacturer simply removed this great feature in its June 2019 11.2 update.

    A regression absolutely rejected by the community of users and developers, which is understandable. It's like taking back a candy from a child after having given it to him... This decision is also perceived as extremely unfair: why should French users be subjected to bans resulting from regulations that do not even concern them?... :#roll#:

    As a result, the reactivation of the official literal engine was one of the first improvements proposed by the modified firmwares
    like Omega. But it was clear that reactivating the same engine did not make the problem disappear and would have consequences... The arrival of KhiCAS with a very superior calculation engine did not help the matter at all.

    And yes, Omega and/or KhiCAS made NumWorks lose the Portugal market, a huge financial loss, we thought it was starting to smell bad for the community...
