I have recently sold all of the Licq source code to Mirabilis. They are
attempting to buy up all ICQ clones to stop competition. I'm sorry, but I
couldn't refuse the money they offered me. Being a poor college student
living off of ramen noodles has put its strain on my decision making skills
perhaps. But either way, there will be a news update on www.mirabilis.com in
the next 24 hours. I imagine other ICQ clones will be doing the same thing,
so check out their websites as well. The SourceForge project page will be
closed and the Licq website will be taken down when they complete the
changeover. Thanks to everyone that has helped with the project over the
years, and I'm sorry it came end like to this. I am under contract to direct
all questions to the upcoming press conference. The date and location will
be announced on Mirabilis' website.
