moi je voyais plutôt l'inverse : i.e. RedHat prolonge la durée du support :

Donc quand la RedHat 8 est sortie ils auraient dû arrêter le support pour la 7.0, la 7.1 et la 7.2. Mais maintenant ils continuent :

support policy and will now provide errata support for all releases of the
base OS for at least 12 months from the date of the initial release.»
«At certain times, Red Hat may extend errata maintenance for certain popular releases of the operating system.»
