There is the Route 48 from Tendo City to Sendai City in Miyagi Prefecture.
And 4 cities and 2 towns, Higashine city, Tendo city, Murayama city, Kahoku town and Ohishida town, will have the big meeting for improve of Route 48.
There is already the meeting by Sendai city, Higashine city and Tendo city. But they organize that big meeting by not only administrations but also the industrial world (many companies).

One woman from Chinese have a Chinese language lesson.
Her name is Hang Lee. She works at one campany in Tendo as a interpreter and a buyer. The other day the association of Japan-China exchange starts in Tendo. So many people take part in her lessons.

We had the Japanese Professional Football League Game "Yokomaha" vs "Iwata".
Over 15,000 people gathered from not only Yamagata Prefecture but also any other prefecture in Tohoku area in Japan. So many people made big traffic jam at midnight.

These days many people happed to watch bears at the "Yamaguchi" area.
A bear walked across the road around the "Tendo Kougen" (Heights in Tendo) about this June and some people watched a family of bear. And some people hit a bear over 70Kg at the mountaion next to the route 48 in the morning on July 26.
Every year bears appear around here. So people know it. But tourists don't know it. It is important to teach about bears.
