This event started as the local festival and they gathered used carp pennants. Every year they displayed them by 2 cranes. But this year they supported by the association of public lottery.
The carp pennant is one of traditional thing. People who have sons display in May for sons health.

They started the 39th Title match of Professional Shogi (Japanese chess) "Oui" from July 16 in Sizuoka Prefecture. This time Mr.Yoshiharu HABU with Oui grade had a match with Mr.Yasumitsu SATO with Meijin Grade.
At the 1st period, Mr.HABU won the game by 128th tern at 19:25.
They have the next period on July 30 in Hokkaido.

The group "Nakamakko", they had lessons to thier performance on August 3 and 4.
They are the group to make and play drama with the handicapped.
At first they started only by thier family.
They perform at their restaurant of Japanese OKONOMIYAKI "Nakamakko".

They want more staffs now because they take part in the festival "National Volunteer Festival" in September.

The cooperation of restaurants about noodle in Tendo, they visited one kindergarten to serve Soba (Japanese noodle). They have this event twice a year. For tourists, they have this event at the "Ningen Shogi" in Spring.

The association of international exchange in Tendo, they had a general meeting at the "Tendo Hotel" in the Tendo Spa.
This time 2 women from New Zealand and China talked in Japanese about Tendo. One said that public traffic systems was very good but they had to make effort for the system about intelligence network (ex. internet).
