Sean is up for reelection in Congress this November and faces stiff competition
The Real World Boston's Sean is facing a tough challenge this November as his congressional seat is up for re-election.
Pat Krietlow, a former news anchor, is running for the seat. Polls conducted as early as last year show that Sean faces an uphill battle to keep his seat. Sean is married to Rachel (San Francisco) and they have six children together.
Sean from his appearance on the Real World: Boston
Sean won the seat in 2010, which was held by longtime congressman Dave Obey, a Democrat. Sean, a Republican, won the seat in his home district in Wisconsin. Sean had been living in Wisconsin, working as the Ashland District Attorney. That being said, his seat, which was held by a Democrat for many years, is looking to be one of the most contested races this November.Pat Krietlow, a former news anchor, is running for the seat. Classic Real World Seattle Episodes Online
Some great news for longtime fans of the series, especially those who watched the Boston and Seattle seasons.
[フレーム]
Someone has posted the first fourteen episodes of the Seattle season and has already posted the Boston season episodes on the same account. The episode embedded above is one of the most infamous episodes where Irene (Seattle) left the house and the "slap heard 'round the world".
Note: YouTube is notorious for taking this stuff offline, so make sure to catch up soon.

Brooke and Ev are no longer friends on MySpace and are rumored to have broken up
While we try to avoid drama, especially that which has unfolded on MySpace, there has been a development as of late. Former girlfriends, Brooke (Denver) and Evelyn (Fresh Meat), who met on the upcoming Gauntlet 3, seem to be kaput.
Their relationship actually hit MySpace before anything else, with Brooke proclaiming to be bisexual and the two professing their undying love for each other. Now, all evidence of Ev is completely gone from Brooke's is completely gone and Ev no longer has Brooke as the centerpiece of her MySpace page.
So what happened? Well, it's hard to tell. But this message board reports that it may be telling that Brooke now has Syrus (Boston) as her #1 friend, while Syrus has Brooke as her #2 friend. Or does it not mean anything?

Today is Sean and Rachel's eighth wedding anniversary; The couple have four children
The first Real World couple to get hitched is having their eighth wedding anniversary today. Sean (Boston) married Rachel (San Francisco) on April 4, 1999 after they both appeared together on Road Rules: All-Stars. All-Stars is now known as the first season of the long running series of Real World/Road Rules Challenges.
The couple have four children together, ranging from the ages of 1 to 7. Sean is a district attorney in Ashland, WI and made headlines in 2004 when he was seriously mulling a run in the United States Congress. Rachel spent most of her time trying to make it as a television host, hosting many short-lived series and local programs, but most notably, was a candidate for the fifth co-host chair on ABC's The View.
Sean and Rachel are one of two married Real World couples. The other is Pam (San Francisco) and Judd (San Francisco) who married after dating for several years. Also, the lone Road Rules couple who is engaged, Chadwick (Australia) and Holly (Maximum Velocity Tour) are still very much married.

Tonya, Syrus, Ace, and Cameran have all gone wild
Former alumni Tonya (Chicago), Syrus (Boston), Ace (Paris) and Cameran (San Diego) have all taken the plunge and have Gone Wild. The foursome are a part of a series of DVDs from the creators of Girls Gone Wild called "Wild World".
In fact, if you go to the Girls Gone Wild website, the four are on the front page with Girls Gone Wild creator Joe Francis promoting the latest DVDs to hit stores.
THe link is obviously NSFW, but there's no word to if any of the alumni actually participate in any craziness that these videos are famous for. Cameran is on the front page of the website, however, holding an energy drink, but she is fully clothed.

Trishelle, Genesis, Belfort update after the devestation that is Katrina
As the devastation of Hurricane Katrina is becoming more apparent, especially in the city of New Orleans, many of you have been sending in emails, concerned about castmembers and their families. Specifically, people have been concerned about Trishelle (Las Vegas) and Genesis (Boston).
Trishelle (Las Vegas) who grew up and still has family in Cutoff, LA has said that her family is safe. Since the hurricane left many towns in complete devastating, most of her family has since relocated to Texas or West Louisiana. Although it took her two days to reach her family, Trishelle has had some trouble contacting close friends that live in the Biloxi, New Orleans and Gulfport areas. "It's very sad. I didn't have contact with my family for almost 2 days after the storm. I've received several messages from friends through text (I think they may get service every once in a while). All of the messages from my friends have basically said they are homeless, some of them trying to go to another state closeby to find a job and start to rebuild their lives." Our best wishes go out to Trishelle, her family and her friends.
Genesis (Boston) also grew up in Gulfport, MS, which was heavily hit by Katrina. Although Genesis wasn't believed to still be living in Gulfport, we have yet to hear word about her family in that region. We hope Genesis, her family and friends are doing OK.
Among trivial matters, people have been asking about the Belfort, the house used in the New Orleans season of The Real World. Although the house, which was located on St. Charles Avenue in the Garden District, is yet to be confirmed flooded, 80% of the city of New Orleans is underwater. The house was located only two miles from the Superdome, so chances are the Belfort was damaged during Katrina. Large parts of that area of New Orleans are known to have been flooded. However, the house may be unrecoverable amid reports on CNN, that some anticipate the increasing toxicity of flood waters will render New Orleans uninhabitable for anywhere from a year to a decade.
The best way to help, especially if you do not live close to the affected areas, is to donate to the relief fund. You can check out the Amazon/Google joint fundraiser to donate to the American Red Cross. If you want to help by donating or volunteering in other ways, you can check out the CNN Help Page or check out the Red Cross' website which offers ways to donate and volunteer with your local Red Cross chapter.

Philadelphia profiled in Teen People Magazine; Sean and Rachel appeared at the RNC
October's issue of Teen People Magazine has an article about The Real World: Philadelphia. I'm told the article contains pictures of both the cast and the house. Check it out.
And I keep getting emails about both Sean (Boston) and Rachel (San Francisco) being at the Republican National Convention, being held all this week in New York City. The married couple are both heavily involved in conservative politics, as Sean is Ashland County's District Attorney and he played around with the idea of running for Congress last year. While, Rachel publicized her Republican viewpoint by being the "conservative panelist" on ABCs The View. If you watch long enough, you might catch a glimpse of them.

Jisela gets the boot from Road Rules; Teck, Nathan, Beth, Syrus, Ruthie on the Wedding Video; Rumored cast of Chicago
Poor little Jisela... She got the boot. Read our episode guide of that episode and the latest Real World episode where the kids work and Lori sings:
Also, we got some more news. Dane and Chris are still working on the column for Norman's movie the Wedding Video. They are still working hard and we're looking to bring that to you soon. We got encounters with stars of the movies, and people including Teck (Hawaii), Nathan (Seattle), Beth S. (Los Angeles), Syrus (Boston), and Ruthie (Hawaii).
Also, I've been emailed like 1,000,000 corrections of the names of the RW Chicago! Here's what I have so far: Theo, Lars, Kyle, Chris, Tanya, Ariel, Nora, and Cara. As you notice, there are four guys. It has been reported that two cast members, one male and one female, have left cast to appear in RW12, which is rumored to be in Philadephia, Pittsburgh, Las Vegas or Atlanta. They reportedly chose to leave after the protesting and murders at the house.
In reality TV news, I urge you to check out the new shows. Murder in Small Town X is probably the best new show you're not watching! Well, at least in terms of reality. It's a really well put together show and has a lot of good elements. Spy TV and Fear Factor can get a little tiring. It's just the same thing over and over and over. Cannonball Run 2001 was good... For about 5 minutes. It really needed a lot more to run on. After the first episode, it seemed to lose its gas. BMP is also coming out with two new reality shows and a reality MOVIE. The first show, which is premiering soon on FOX, is called Love Cruise. It's kinda like Temptation Island, but they vote people off. It looks good. Also, they are casting for a new show set to premiere on the WB called Lost in the USA, which is a wannabe Road Rules. The movie is called The Wedding. Details are still sketchy about the last two at this point. New shows to watch for: NBC's Lost and CBS's The Amazing Race. Those look to be really good, but don't expect them to have an impact like Survivor. Also, Big Brother 2 seems to be dwindling down with only Monica, Hardy, Bunky, Nicole, and Will left in the house. Personally, I want either Nicole or Monica to win, but everyone knows it's either going to be Hardy or Will. And if you haven't heard, Survivor 3: Africa is running into problems with the protests of using the Shaba Reserve to film the show. The show is already halfway through, and should premiere soon. Survivor 4 is currently casting.

Sean will be in the ESPN Great Outdoor Games; Challenge will film in Telluride
According to Dave, Sean (Boston) will have a part in the ESPN Great Outdoor Games. People Magazine reported that Sean will be commentating on the log rolling competition, which he also did on his time on the Real World. The games air July 25-27 in Sean's hometown of Hayward, WI. If you remember, Sean caused a minor media blitz when Rachel (San Francisco) (his wife) announced he might run for office in Wisconsin.
I'm also getting official word that the Challenge will officially be in Telluride, Colorado. A preliminary confirmation list I have recieved is Montana, Elka, Veronica, Rachel (BTNY), Abram, Alton, Irulan, David (NO), Matt (NO), Laterrian, Sarah (Campus Crawl), Theo (Chicago), Rachel (Campus Crawl), Trishelle, Mike (BTNY), and Shawn (SAS).
That's it for today. Have a great day.

Sean is making national news headlines as he's considering a run for Congress
Sean (Boston) is making headlines today by considering a run for Congress in 2004. Although nothing is definite, Sean will run as a Republican in his home state of Wisconsin. His wife and two children, Rachel (San Francisco), Eva, and Xavier are sure to be determinate in his final decision on whether or not to run. We wish Sean and Rachel good luck on whatever they decide. If you remember, Sean won Battle of the Seasons and Rachel made her last appearance on a season in 1998, when her and Sean partook in All Stars where they met.
