Jon, you did a excellent job of explaining it - Ive got it.
I figured out my problem , My sub vfo is DEAD - Soooooo I will take it to
Yaesu (20miles) after the 10 mtr contest and have them fix it. Everything
works like its suppose to with the dual and split opening up the sql but
there isnt any signals.RX mix seems to be ok too. I dont think it worked
when I bought it "used", plus a friend steered me wrong saying I must have 2
ants to make it work, which i thot was strange......Tnxs for taking the time
to explain the options with the antenna's - I knew I was reading the manual
correctly but it wasnt working so I posted the query:-)
