Special Requirements of Developing States

Small Island Developing States (SIDS) and Territories are major custodians of the fisheries managed by the WCPFC. In recognition of this role, the WCPF Convention requires the Commission to acknowledge the special requirements of SIDS and Territories in fulfilling the objectives of the Commission.
