Hydropower
Statkraft is the largest producer of hydropower in Europe and ranks in the top ten worldwide. The majority of our energy production is generated through this renewable energy source. The flexibility of our hydropower reservoirs helps balance the intermittent production of our growing wind and solar portfolio.

Wind power
Statkraft is the largest owner and operator of onshore wind power assets in the Nordics and has a strong track record with developing, constructing and operating wind power plants. Statkraft is currently constructing the largest onshore wind power project in Europe, Fosen Vind in Norway. We are also developing portfolios globally including in Brazil, Chile, India, the UK and Ireland.
