SpecialScreen

update:2024年1月30日

Image shading with a continuous pattern of fine dots

Technology overview

Dots making up an image are given a special shape that can be seen with a magnifying glass but is difficult to reproduce with a low-resolution copying machine.

This method can be applied in offset printing, making it very cost-effective. Authentication can be easily performed with a magnifying glass or similar.

Product examples

Any number of images can be depicted with the fine dots of SpecialScreen technology. For example, printing a unique image of a symbolic flower, the official plant of a local government or something else unique on materials provides an effective deterrent to forgery. SpecialScreen is already used for various certificates.
