Belize

Belize has attained a gradual economic development based on its tourism and agricultural industries. The GNI per capita of Belize is US7,150ドル (World Bank 2024) and the country is classified as a middle income country. However, the country is highly vulnerable to external factors such as frequent natural disasters and faces issues of social and economic disparity. JICA's support to Belize focuses on "Climate Change", "Education" and "Industry Promotion" for a resilient society and sustainable economic development.
