JICA President Tanaka Met with African Development Bank Group President Ould Tah

On Nov. 14, JICA President Tanaka Akihiko met with African Development Bank (AfDB) Group President Sidi Ould Tah at JICA headquarters in Tokyo.

At the outset, President Ould Tah expressed his gratitude for the collaboration between AfDB and JICA and conveyed his expectations for further strengthening of this partnership in the future.

In response, President Tanaka stated that, under EPSA6 (the sixth phase of the Enhanced Private Sector Assistance for Africa), he would like to fortify collaboration by complementing the strengths of both parties.

They further exchanged views on support for countries striving to improve their debt sustainability and on the potential for cooperation utilizing private sector financing.
