Joint Research on Contemporary Political Communication(2020_2_40_003)

Outline

The purpose of our research group is to consider the reality of "modern political communication" and its political and social implications, based on the knowledge and ideas about communication accumulated in traditional political communication theory and adjacent academic fields. Based on specific political phenomena in Central American countries, Turkey, Spain, Chile, and so on, we will attempt to elucidate the following questions. What kind of "communication" is found and under what circumstances? What sorts of interactions take place? How does the communication stimulate and activate the attitudes and activities of political actors? How does this communication feed back to the relevant political phenomena?
