Challenges to Spreading the Healthcare System in Vietnam(2018_2_40_006)

Outline
Vietnam has been trying to expand the healthcare system throughout the whole nation. The situation has been improving, but there are several problems, including (1) about 20 % of the nation has not participated yet; and (2) the weak members of society such as the poor, elderly, and disabled whom the Vietnamese government supplies a health insurance card have not fully utilized their rights yet. Based on a qualitative approach which focuses on the penetration of the healthcare system, our research group tries to clarify the realities surrounding the Vietnamese healthcare system and the social situation and structures behind it.
