Regulations and Standards: Diffusion, Fragmentation and Harmonization(2017_2_20_007)

Outline

Regulations and standards for protecting health, safety and the environment are on the increase globally. Some of the regulations have diffused from other countries. This research project examines the determinants behind the diffusion and the interaction among policies and countries when a policy spreads between countries.
