法制度の研究は、その歴史的、政治的および社会的なバックグラウンドを踏まえたものでなければ意味がありません。特に、途上国の法制度について研究・提言を行っていこうとするときは、その内容が独りよがりなものにならないよう、対象国の実情に対する十分な知識と想像力を駆使して臨むことが求められます。研究者を目指す人も、実務家を目指す人も、単なる飯のタネとしてではなく、愛をもって対象に関与する姿勢を磨いてほしいと思います。

Most of you who are studying here in this University are sort of blessed people in your mother country, right? Then, it may not be very easy for you to realize enough the importance of Social Law for ordinary citizens there. But, possibly, you can become a person who can do something for them very practically and effectively.
Come on. Research the actual conditions in your country. And then, let's consider the solution together!
