アフリカや南アジアで普及しているモバイルマネーやデジタル金融サービスが各国・地域の経済発展に及ぼす影響について実証分析を行っています。また、デジタル金融包摂や国際送金についても研究に取り組んでいます。

I am conducting empirical analyses of the impacts of mobile money and digital financial services on the economic development in Africa and South Asia. I am also engaged in research on digital financial inclusion and international remittances in these areas.

大学卒業後、政府開発援助の実施機関(JICA)に勤務してから今日まで、実務・研究・教育という様々な立場で開発途上国に携わってきました。これからも特に開発金融の観点から実現的で持続可能な途上国の経済開発のあり方について考えていきたいと思っています。

I have been involved in less developed countries from a variety of perspectives, including practice, research, and education. I would like to continue to think about how to achieve feasible and sustainable economic development in less developed countries.
