The State Attorney's Office is an independent and autonomous state body that protects the property and other rights and interests of the Republic of Slovenia and thereby strengthens the application of the rule of law. It legally represents the state and bodies of all branches of power before the courts and administrative bodies of the Republic of Slovenia, before foreign courts and in foreign arbitral tribunals, and before international courts and in international arbitral tribunals. It also provides legal advice and assists in the amicable settlement of disputes and represents the public interest in administrative disputes.
