Mechatronics and dynamics for information sensing
Based on information technologies, advanced sensing technologies and mechatronics technologies, we are developing ubiquitous information devices for sensor network systems. By miniaturizing these devices and diversifying their usages, these sensor terminals could be attached to humans, natural and artificial objects. These terminals consist of sensors, power sources, CPUs, and wireless devices. The terminals will send the obtained sensor information to the network with minimal functional size. The followings are our research topics.
- Personal area network using an intra-body wireless communication technology.
- Automatic power generation system using human body vibration.
- Design and evaluation of operational feeling of switches using haptic interface.
- Pulse interval measurement of car drivers.
- Location and data mining systems using mobile network.
