Forest science is an academic field in which, while focusing on the work carried out by forests, students learn techniques and knowledge concerning their use and regeneration and seek out desirable relationships between humans and woodland ecosystems. With its emphasis on field-based experience through practical training and surveys, a major feature of this field is that analysis is carried out from an interdisciplinary and multilateral perspective.
