Troubleshoot Workspace guest accounts

Guests can't sign in to their accounts

When guests try to sign in to their accounts, they might see the following error message: "This account is not allowed to sign in within this network".

Guests may be prevented from collaborating if you have blocked user access to consumer accounts, such as personal accounts or managed Google Accounts from other domains.

You can ensure guests have access by updating your trusted domain allowlist.

  • To allow guest accounts to login, add: *.guest.google
  • To allow collaboration with specific domains, add each host's domain in the following format—replacing "example.com" with their specific domain(s): example.com.guest.google
    • You can also use wildcards to include subdomains.
