Can't change settings using the Groups API

This page is for administrators who manage groups for an organization. If you're not an admin and need help managing your own groups, go to the Learning Center.

There are some settings in Google Groups (groups.google.com) that you can't access using the Groups Settings API. Some examples include:

  • Email delivery or subscription settings
  • Posting permissions (including posting permission overrides)
