Focus and Scope: The Survey Statistician is the newsletter of the International Association of Survey Statisticians (IASS). It includes general information about the activities of the Association (meetings, seminars, etc.) and about meetings arranged by other organizations around the world that are likely to be of interest to its members. It contains various articles on survey methods and related topics, as well as book and software reviews. The newsletter welcomes overviews of survey topics, original research and reports on projects and workshops. All submitted manuscripts are reviewed by the Editors.

The aim of the newsletter: To provide a platform for survey statisticians for exchange of news, information, experience, new and emerging methods and list the latest relevant publications in other journals.

Publication frequency: Two issues per year.

Language: The newsletter accepts articles in English.

Open Access Policy. Our periodical is an open access newsletter. All content is freely available without charge to users or their institutions. Users are allowed to read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, or link to the full texts of the articles in this journal without asking prior permission of the publisher or the author. The journal does not charge fees for article processing or submission. Articles published in the journal are distributed under a Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 (CC BY 4.0) license.
