Additional Information
- See Implementation of New Initiatives and Policies: Common Forms for Biographical Sketch and Current and Pending (Other) Support
- NIH expects to transition to the Common Forms in 2026 to provide greater standardization across federal agencies and clarity of disclosure requirements. The exact implementation date will be announced in Fall 2025.
- NIH encourages the applicant community to start preparing for this change by becoming familiar with SciENcv and establishing ORCID IDs and linking them to their eRA Commons profiles. This will be a requirement once the Common Forms go into effect for all individuals required to submit a Biographical Sketch.
