I think the "片段" is more common , and the "片断" is typo. @PrincessGod

The Egret Engine docs use 片段着色器, which somewhat tips the scales. 片元 is a made-up technical jargon nobody outside computer graphics would have heard of, whereas 片段 is much like the word "fragment", understood and used by every Tom, Dick, and Harry.
