Method: projects.dashboards.delete

Deletes an existing custom dashboard.

This method requires the monitoring.dashboards.delete permission on the specified dashboard. For more information, see Cloud Identity and Access Management.

Required. The resource name of the Dashboard. The format is:

projects/[PROJECT_ID_OR_NUMBER]/dashboards/[DASHBOARD_ID]

Authorization requires the following IAM permission on the specified resource name:

  • monitoring.dashboards.delete

Request body

The request body must be empty.

Response body

If successful, the response body is an empty JSON object.

Authorization scopes

Requires one of the following OAuth scopes:

  • https://www.googleapis.com/auth/cloud-platform
  • https://www.googleapis.com/auth/monitoring
  • https://www.googleapis.com/auth/monitoring.write
