Creating Deployments with Google Cloud Marketplace

Google Cloud offers pre-defined templates that you can use to deploy common solutions with Deployment Manager. These templates are offered as part of Google Cloud Marketplace and can be found in the Google Cloud console.

The advantage of Google Cloud Marketplace is that it handles configuration and template creation for you and you just deploy the solution through a button in the Google Cloud console. This greatly simplifies creating deployments on Deployment Manager.

Google Cloud Marketplace offers some level of customization for these solutions; however, for advanced users who need full control over your configurations or want to do a high level of customization, you might need to create your own configuration.

Using Google Cloud Marketplace

To use Google Cloud Marketplace:

  1. Go to the Google Cloud Marketplace page in the Google Cloud console.

Go to the Google Cloud Marketplace page

  2. Click the solution you want to deploy.
  3. Follow the instructions to deploy your solution.
