All the following features are available in the latest version of NVIDIA® NsightTM Application Development Environment for Heterogeneous Platforms, Visual Studio Edition:

[1] As of NsightTM Visual Studio Edition 5.6, released in April 2018, VS2010 is no longer supported [2] As of NsightTM Visual Studio Edition 2019.3, released in August 2019, VS2012 and VS2013 are no longer supported. These were deprecated in NsightTM Visual Studio Edition 6.0 (released in September 2018) and NsightTM Visual Studio Edition 2019.1 (released in February 2019), respectively. [3] As of NsightTM Visual Studio Edition 2020.1, released in May 2020, the following support was dropped OpenCL support, which was deprecated since 2019.4 Window 7 support, which was deprecated since 2019.2 [4] As of NsightTM Visual Studio Edition 2020.3, released in December 2020, VS2015 support has been dropped. [5] As of NsightTM Visual Studio Edition 2024.2, released in May 2024, VS2017 support has been deprecated and will be dropped in a future release. [6] As of NsightTM Visual Studio Edition 2025.1, released in January 2025, VS2019 support has been dropped. [7] As of NsightTM Visual Studio Edition 2020.2, released in September 2020, integrated Analysis Trace/Timeline support as been removed. Integrated Analysis support (Trace, Timeline, Oculus SDK), was deprecated in 2019.2. For Pascal and later GPUs, recommended support is provided by Nsight Systems and NVIDIA Nsight Integration For older architectures, please see Visual Profiler [8] As of NsightTM Visual Studio Edition 2020.1, released in May 2020, the following support was dropped: Integrated Graphics support (Virtual Reality, UWP, .Net, Direct3D, Vulkan, OpenGL), was deprecated in 2019.2. This now supported by Nsight Graphics and NVIDIA Nsight Integration Integrated Profiling support (OpenCL), was deprecated in 2019.2. This now supported by Nsight Compute and NVIDIA Nsight Integration

Drop Notices:

Visual Studio 2015 support has been removed in Nsight VSE 2020.3.
Visual Studio 2017 support has been removed in Nsight VSE 2025.1.
Maxwell, Pascal, and Volta GPU support has been removed in Nsight VSE 2025.3.
The Legacy Debugger (supporting Maxwell GPUs) has been removed in Nsight VSE 2025.3.

Deprecation Notices:

As of NsightTM Visual Studio Edition 2025.1, released in January 2025, VS2019 support has been deprecated and will be dropped in a future release.
