The Galaxy Communicator open source
distribution
The GalaxyCommunicator
open source distribution is provided by the MITRE Corporation, based
extensively on the MIT GalaxyCommunicator system. MITRE maintains
this infrastructure for the DARPA Communicator program, and also
provides documentation, examples, programming language bindings,
additional servers, etc.
Most recent Galaxy
Communicator releases
- version 4.0, on
September 10, 2002 (patch 2 released September 24, 2003)
The Open Source Toolkit
The Open Source Toolkit
(OSTK) is a collection of open source Communicator-compliant servers and
wrappers which will help you build your own spoken dialogue system.
As this collection evolves, we intend to provide support for a number
of common and useful third-party open source software tools, as well
as a reference dialogue system exemplifying useful techniques in a
running application. The current release of the Open Source Toolkit
requires Galaxy Communicator 4.0 or later. At least one of the C
servers and one of the examples runs under Windows.
Most recent Open
Source Toolkit releases
- version 20030924,
on September 24, 2003 (requires 4.0 or later)
