Offshore Supply Vessels soon part of the Clean Shipping Index

We’re expanding! Offshore Supply Vessels (OSVs) will now be included in the Clean Shipping Index. Newbuild OSVs can be indexed starting May, 2025, and operational vessels will be included from January 1, 2026.

To reflect the unique work patterns of OSVs—such as standby, platform supply and anchor handling—we’re developing a tailored approach to assess CO2 performance based on fuel use and operational hours.

The methodology is currently being finalized, and we warmly welcome feedback from stakeholders during this process.
