Larson CGM Software Releases WebView: A Viewer Plug-in for Internet Explorer Supporting the WebCGM Standard

WebCGM, the emerging standard for delivering high quality technical graphics over the web, is well suited to applications such Illustrated Parts Catalogues, Interactive Electronic Technical Manuals, Web based Earth Resource Information Systems, or any application where there is a need to deliver complex technical graphics that originate in CAD or GIS systems used by aviation, heavy equipment manufacturing, and petroleum exploration systems.

WebView includes capabilities for markup and scaled printing. A "freely available" Personal Version can be downloaded from http://www.cgmlarson.com/downloads/webcgmview.exe. A Software Development Kit is available which enables developers to integrate the viewer, an ActiveX control, with databases or write custom web graphics applications.
